This class will unlock the secrets of baking delicious, healthy, and economical artisan bread at home- the easy way, without kneading! Great bread requires only four basic ingredients: flour, water, yeast, and salt. By learning the science behind how these simple ingredients interact, you can enjoy the art of creating your own style of bread with consistently great results. Learn about ingredients, helpful tools, correct measuring, and many helpful bread making hints, as well as some tips to easily fit baking homemade bread into your schedule. Each person will practice mixing a dough to take home and bake and we’ll end the day with a feast of bread baked in class. Please bring with you to class a mixing bowl, a spoon, and optionally: your favorite condiment or food item to eat on bread.
