This course will introduce you to the benefits and drawbacks of our East Bay soils, soil testing, issues concerning lead in the soil, and a variety of methods which- when combined- can turn our soil into gold. We will cover sheet mulching, double digging, compost and compost teas, biochar, cover crops and more.
